- Noon Plan to head to the Dahlgren spots along the trail around lunchtime to experience Machodoc Creek Marina & Café for lunch or to the Fairview Beach spots along the trail to arrive at Tim’s II. Enjoy delicious food at both spots while overlooking the Potomac River.
- 1 p.m. Continue your journey on the Native American Heritage Trail but don’t forget to explore the locations along the way. For example, immerse yourself in art while surrounded by nature when exploring the peaceful poetry walk on the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail Indiantown Road access location.
- 6 p.m. Finish the day with dinner from King’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant and sip on microwinery Two Dogs Whine next door.
